Latte di Cherry by New Notes is an extrait de parfum for women and men built on one idea taken to its limit - cherry, candied and liqueur-glossed, poured over creamy almond and red berries. Jasmine, ylang-ylang and Bulgarian rose keep the middle from collapsing into syrup, and vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, vetiver and amber hold the sweetness down for hours. New Notes is an Italian niche house launched in 2022 under HIC Beauty and introduced to the trade at Esxence in Milan. The premise sits in the name - take a note perfumery already knows and push it somewhere it has not been, without apologising for how loudly it lands.
The method is deliberately literal: build a fragrance around one edible idea, then lacquer it until it reads like the real thing. Latte di Cherry does that with cherry - candied and liqueur-glossed, poured over creamy almond, with jasmine and ylang-ylang softening the middle and vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood holding it through the night. The wider range runs the same method through mandarin, pistachio, violet, talc and leather.
